The scooter only weighs 42 lbs with the battery removed and weighs a total of 46.5 lbs with the battery. If you remove the seat and the battery, the base only weighs 32 lbs. It has a comfortable seat with newly added back support that makes it comfortable for long-distance rides. This scooter has a very sharp turning radius for its class, which is 33.5″. When operating the I-Ride, users can select between 3 different speed modes. It also has a reverse mode which is a new feature that version 1 did not have. Speed one gives you a smoother, slower ride between 1 and 2 MPH while speed 3 allows you to reach up to 5.8 MPH.
The I Ride has a full digital display that reads out the battery power level and speed in MPH. 2 disk-style brakes are used to stop the rear wheels of the scooter with a hand lever located on the left handlebar. This is one of the few folding mobility scooters that also disassembles so can be considered a travel mobility scooter as well.
